Job Title: Nuclear Qualified Electrician 

Location: Various 

Hourly Rate: Depending on experience  

Per Diem: Depends on location

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Utility’s plant electricians by performing supportive duties as directed and will work under immediate supervision.  

  • Duties include but not limited to: 

  • Adhering to utility’s plans and procedures 

  • Blueprint reading 

  • Pulling wire and cable 

  • perform live-dead-live checks,  

  • Cutting, threading, and bending of conduit 

  • Perform splices and terminations 

  • Be able to use basic hand and power tools and lift up to 50 pounds. 

  • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience and knowledge of tools of the trade 

  • Must have prior experience removing and replacing bussbar 

  • Ability to work under direct supervision and follow directions 

  • Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 6 days/week 

  • Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals 

  • Ability to perform field work in all areas of the job site, including ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds at various heights 

  • Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, or stoop around equipment safely 

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed 

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead
